A layer of organic coconut fibre and natural latex form the core of the mattress, padded either side with organic wool, to create a firm, flat and breathable sleep surface.The materials in the mattress are naturally breathable and self-ventilating to help your little ones regulate their body temperature, for a long and comfortable night’s sleep.

The mattress is a comfortable, 2-sided, twist mattress adjusted to baby and toddler.For younger children, we recommend the coir side which offers firmer support for their young bodies. As they grow, flip the mattress to expose the latex side, offering more supple support for their growing bones.

The mattress features an inner calico cover and a quilted outer cover made from a blend of wool & cotton - woven tightly in such a way that renders them naturally fireproof, with no need for chemical treatment.

The quilted cotton cover is removable & washable at 40 degrees. It is finished with an all-natural treatment to make it bed-bug & dust-mite resistant - perfect for children with allergies.

The mattress has a safety zip without puller so that the child cannot open the cover of the mattress. In order to open the zip, an aid (e.g. paper clip) must be used. Remember to remove the aid after use.

When your baby’s mattress first arrives you may detect the smell of wool, which will disappear over time. It is good practice to air baby mattresses once a week, so when the bedding is in the wash try leaving it for a good hour before putting on fresh sheets. And open the window to increase air circulation.
